History & Our Way of Life.
Bread has been a staple in people’s diets for many centuries, and for the majority of that time it was made by hand. Since the industrial revolution, Machines has been in large factories producing breads that are full of preservatives and unnatural ingredients. It has resulted to their dominance of shelves at supermarkets and corner stores.
We, at Lof Bakery, established ourselves with 5 flagship stores across Brunei Darussalam since 2008. We believe that making bread is not about following an exact recipe, but instead about honoring the traditions of baking. Quantity indeed is important to the demand of consumers but quality should not be neglected and we, at Lof Bakery, set to maintain that spirit. With such enthusiasm, we have created over 500 types of handmade bakery products in the way it was meant to be enjoyed.
Our skilled bakers use their expertise to test the fermentation, knead, mould and shape the breads and a trained eye to tell when the bread is just right to come out of the oven.
It is our vision that more and more communities will have the opportunity and access to the original and untainted bakeries of Lof Bakery; in turn bring the experience and enjoyment of handmade bakery products with just a stone throw away.
